We welcome you to the Cerbat Garden Club WebsiteThe goal of the Cerbat Garden Club is to provide open educational programs for all those interested in gardening in the Kingman area, to encourage interest in flower design, to promote civic beautification, and the conservation of our natural resources. The theme for 2011-2012 is: Desert Splendor"I used to visit and revisit it a dozen times a day, and stand in deep contemplation over my vegetable progeny with a love that nobody could share or conceive of who had never taken part the process of creation. It was one of the most bewitching sights in the world to observe a hill of beans thrusting aside the soil, or a rose of early peas just peeping forth sufficiently to trace a lone of delicate green." ~ Nathaniel Hawthorne

President's Message: The Cerbat Garden Club has given back to Kingman in so many ways. We continue to show the community that we care about our residents and that they are foremost in all of our ongoing projects. The Meditation Garden Project is but one of the ways that we are able to do this. The garden will provide a peaceful setting for meditation or a place to just get away for all of Kingman's residents. Area nursing facilities also benefit from the flowers and plants that we provide for their pleasure. Our school programs encourage students to care and learn about the importance of trees and plants in our community. As our member-ship continues to grow, more CGC volunteers will be involved in making Kingman a safe and lovely haven. This year we will explore the beautiful desert in which we live. We will have a variety of exciting programs in keeping with our theme "Desert Splendor." Diana Broeckel, President |
